En este serie abordo lo textil desde mi cuerpo inmediato y metafórico. Las técnicas se adaptan a los huecos de la maternidad, a sus tiempos y a las posturas que asume mi cuerpo cuando materno (hay maneras de trabajar el material que tuve que inventar para poder continuar tejiendo cuando a un bebe dormía en mi regazo por ejemplo) y  a los materiales que voy encontrando mientras me ocupo de mi casa y de mis hijos. Pero estos textiles también hablan de lo que le pasa a mi cuerpo durante el trance que implica la gestación, la pérdida de embarazos, el parto, el amamantar. Y hablan de lo que no puedo decir con palabras en esos procesos.

In this series I approach weaving and knitting from my immediate and metaphorical body. The technique adapts to motherhood´s  spaces and times. There are ways to work the material that I had to invent to continue weaving when a baby slept in my lap, for example. The materials I choose are those that I find while I take care of my home and children.

These textiles talk mostly about what happens to my body during pregnancy, loss of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding...  And they talk about me being a woman and what I can't say with words through those processes.
